Moving burns calories

So, I went for my run Thursday evening, after Doug got home from work.  I ran 2 miles in 20:20…that felt good!  New shoes, new shorts…  it’s all good. 

Today I went climbing with Rachel – nothing too crazy, I was already tired when I got there.  We did climb for an hour, one route after the other, so it was a good work out all around.

So far, so good.  I need to get into the rhythm of things so I can consistently work out.

I sent the last of the paperwork to the lender today for my parents house, and, surprise! my parents sent me a power of attorney, so that I could do the closing for them if need be.  I just want to be done with this whole house business.  It takes up way too much of my time.  My parents are loading up their UHaul this weekend (with the help of family and friends), and will head westward on Monday morning. 

Anyone want to help unload a truck next weekend?   Grin  It’s good exercise!  According to Balance Log, one hour of moving boxes and furniture burns 368 calories and one hour of unpacking boxes burns 215 calories.   giggle
