Climbing into my lap with a book - uninvited but never unwelcome

Little kisses right on the lips
“Would you hold me/lay with me/read to me, mama?”
Happy feet
“Good morning!”
The over the shoulder grin
Being serenaded by a toddler and a preschooler
“Would you kiss it, mama?”
The look in his eyes when he knows he’s going to get tickled
“Mama’s home!”
The run and tackle greeting
Big baby laughs
The “don’t be mad, look how cute I am” smile
Great big hearts with lots of love
